This blog will feature news about the park, upcoming events or promotions, and an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the park itself. Waldameer is opening on Mother's Day weekend, May 10 and 11. The 2008 season will be an exciting one due to the completion of the long-awaited Ravine Flyer II roller coaster. The coaster will debut on Saturday, May 17 at 12 PM. The first seats will be awarded to the winners of the auction hosted by Connoisseur Media, Jet-TV, and Erie Times News. All proceeds benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
