Wow! Where do I start? I predicted that Ravine Flyer II would be the best coaster opening this year, and I'm glad to say that it lived up to my expectations. It's a flawless ride, but I'd have to say that my favorite part would be the 90-degree banking towards the end. The train is tossed to the right completely on its side. It's a great moment in a coaster full of great moments. I gave Ravine Flyer II a 10 out of 10 which I rarely do. Congrats on the world-class coaster!
I think my favorite part is the second time you cross the bridge. The drop off of it is bigger than you expect and even with as many rides I have had, it still gets me.
With the ride as a whole, I love how by the evening it seems a gear is unlocked and it seems faster and more out-of-control than earlier in the day.
Congratulations on being the home for such a fantastic coaster. It truly is a special ride and I don't know of a better park for it.
ErieBlogs.com blogged about our experience on the ride here:
